In a little town called Holambra, situated in the state of São Paulo in 1978, a Dutch immigrant Mr. Wilhelmus G. Stapelbroek started a small workshop of maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery with the support of your oldest son Mr. Kees Stapelbroek. Soon joined him a young boy determined and creative, his son-in-law  Mr. Antônio José Salvador Corbato, also known as Tonny, who found in this sector a good opportunity for business.

 

Years passed by and together came the necessity to expand everything that was learned from agricultural market and therefore was created a brand for this new enterprise called STABRA, name that proposes the combination of its patron Mr. Stapelbroek and the country that makes this activity possible, Brazil.

 

In 1987, aiming haying market, started the production of  Disc Mower, traditional agricultural machinery in the region.

 

After Mr. Wilhelmus and Mr. Kees leaving the company, his daughter Lilian Stapelbroek Salvador and his son-in-law Mr. Antônio José Salvador Corbato took over the business, that motivated by market expansion, restructured the company creating new technologies and new products, Stabra produced the first and most complete set of haying machinery in Brazil, always respecting singularity of each region.

 

To keep the pioneer position reached all over the years in Brazilian market, was initiated a new product line for the bioenergetics sector launching a machinery to pickup and bale sugarcane straw.
